ARTIST STATEMENT

"Although there are many mediums I connect with, graphic design is where I find the most freedom in expression and connection with others, mostly because it is the digital intersection for so many forms of art.
Much of my work comes from visualizing my feelings, experiences, and emotions through finding ways to explore color, space, and form. Often I am most inspired by nature, technology, architecture, music, other artists, and daily life in itself, as well as visions of what the future might look like. In my experience as an artist, I find that the more authentic I am in expressing my work, the more valuable it becomes as a representation of my perspective and my voice.
Vivid colors, abstract patterns, my own photography, innovative typography, as well as illustration make up a large amount of my work. While also being a musician, I love to explore ways to combine my artwork with my music, and bringing scenes and designs to life is one of my favorite ways to show a large amount of work I’ve put into something all at once. Watching and getting to experience people connect with work you have put so much of yourself into is by far worth the effort."
